Mixed media: coloured pencil and graphite on pigment print
The artist initially explores the scientific beauty of the often-overlooked small: making the invisible visible through light-microscopic photographs of the natural environment. She engages in a graphic dialogue with these organic structures, forms, and tissues. In her drawings, her dots, lines, and shapes express delight in the synthesis with the microcosm. Nature provides the framework for the selection of colors and forms. Art, in turn, spontaneously expands upon the depicted nature.
