The fields of tension, the both/ands of my art: form and content, statics and dynamics, order and chaos, analysis and intuition.

The dynamics of the drawing Platz in der Matrix (2023) emerges from the contradiction between two different methods: process-oriented and goal-
oriented.

The various formal motifs are created intuitively, unplanned: as surfaces, shapes and lines. Denise Schellmann juxtaposes them with
deliberately and repetitively constructed, hieroglyphic-like colour panels as elements of order. The freedom of art and the order of science engage in
creative dialogue.
